  • Visiting Scholar - PhD Candidate

    Maryam Baloch, a dedicated PhD student actively pursuing her doctoral studies in Organizational Behavior from the University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy. Maryam holds a solid academic foundation, having completed her undergraduate and masters from UAE and Italy in Management and Economics.

    She is an ardent and motivated PhD candidate who is actively engaged in her studies. She is prepared to make significant contributions to I/O psychology as she has a firm academic foundation, a passion for her subject, and a commitment to rigorous inquiry. Through her ongoing research and commitment to academic excellence, Maryam is poised to make a significant contribution in her field.

    I am a second-year graduate student in I/O Psychology at Montclair State University, with a graduation date set for May 2027. My research interests include well-being, motivation, workplace psychological constructs, and leadership. I also love survey design and development. I am the Vice-president of Eagle IO, our student-led consulting group. I completed my BA in Psychology here at MSU in May 2022

  • PhD Student

    Christina is a second-year PhD student in the Industrial / Organizational Psychology program. Prior to beginning her studies at Montclair, she received her BA in psychology and communications from Drew University and her MA in general psychology with a concentration in social cognition from The New School for Social Research.

    Guided by her perspective as the daughter of a refugee immigrant, observations from studying abroad and experiences as a student athlete, her research interests include the role of lifestyle in career sustainability as well as individual and intra-group functions driving lifestyle factors, such as health habits and leisure activities, and the relationship between self-regulation and performance. Christina hopes to investigate her research questions cross-culturally and teach at the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition to pursuing her doctorate, she helps run a family business, a yoga studio in Somerville, NJ, and enjoys running, creative writing, photography and travel.

    Sarvenaz completed both her BA and MA degrees in Psychology in Iran. Her academic pursuits revolve around investigating inequality, discrimination, and stereotype threat within organizational contexts. She is particularly interested in exploring the experiences of women and minorities in male-dominated jobs, as well as the replication of harmful or exclusionary norms at both individual and institutional levels.

    I am a current Ph.D. student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Doctoral program at Montclair State University. I received my B.A. in psychology from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. My research interests include motivation, leadership, and DEI. I am scheduled to graduate with my doctorate in May 2026.

    I am a current 1st-year Master's student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Master's program at Montclair State University, where I am a Teacher's Assistant for Intro to Psychology and Perception courses. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State University in May 2023. My research interests include performance management, work attitudes, corporate ethics, and motivation. I am scheduled to graduate with my Master's degree in May 2025.
